New Artist - Jax Hollow

We’re pleased to introduce our newest Anderson Artist: Jax Hollow

Fusing Classic Rock, Blues, and Americana - Jax Hollow has crafted a totally unique genre of her own - a winning combination of intricate songwriting, riffs, ripping solos, and powerful vocals.

Hailing from Nashville by way of Montague, Massachusetts, The Berklee College Of Music graduate is making a name for herself with her recent feature on Rock Legends 2024 with Sammy Hagar, Billy Gibbons, & Rick Springfield. She is an award winning songwriter as well as an accomplished lead guitarist. Her song “Wolf In Sheepskin” won first place in the International Songwriting Competition for the AAA category, with "Don't Call Me Baby" as a finalist in the Unsigned Only Competition. She has been featured Guitar World Magazine, as well as Rolling Stone France.

After receiving a standing ovation opening for Melissa Etheridge at The Ryman Auditorium in July 2023, Etheridge said, "I want to be the one known for discovering Jax Hollow first!”

Her new full length record "Come Up Kid" is all about the underdog journey she's been embarked on for the past 5 years. The culmination of the moment she fell to her knees when the pews and rafters started shaking at The Ryman during her debut solo performance - to being homeless and sleeping in her car just weeks later - in pursuit of the dream to be an original artist in Music City.

We're pleased to introduce our latest Anderson Artist: Hunter Borchardt

Also known by his stage name Hunter Black, he's a guitarist and metal vocalist based out of the Chicagoland area. He plays guitar for Qualia, a metalcore band known for their beautiful clean vocals, groovy guitar riffs, brutal screams, and heavy breakdowns.

Perhaps best known for being a metal based creator on Tik Tok, where he has a massive following, he caught everyone’s attention with his hilarious audition to be the voice of the self-checkout machine for Tesco Stores.

He initially tried out our 7HF3+ pickups, which he found to be sufficiently brutal for his playing style, and that led to a very custom Angel 7 in Metallic Green Go with Metallic Purple Racing stripe.

Hunter also has his own deathcore solo project, Hunter Black, where he writes and records guitar, bass, and vocals. He’s excited about any opportunity to support his friends by lending his vocals or guitar work to their projects.  Hunter loves the stage and is always looking for an opportunity to tour, whether it’s with his band/project or in support of new friends.

New Artist - Geoff Guthrie

We’re pleased to introduce our newest Anderson Artist: Geoff Guthrie

Geoff Guthrie is a guitarist and touring musician located in Nashville, Tennessee. He is currently touring with country artist Sammy Kershaw. Geoff is also part of the “Roots and Boots” tour, which features Sammy Kershaw, Aaron Tippin, and Collin Raye. Originally from Georgia, Geoff has been a part of the Nashville music scene for 9 years, having played literally thousands of shows.

In the beginning Geoff Guthrie grew up on a steady dose of music of many genres. He has kept honing his skills along the way, crossing into many styles. Geoff studied classical guitar at Augusta State University, and taught guitar lessons, while simultaneously playing with local groups in the bar scene, opening for some big name acts along the way. Awards for musicianship and a scholarship nomination at the prestigious Berklee College of Music were also part of the journey that eventually led Geoff to make a move to music city.

Shortly after landing in Nashville, Geoff had an opportunity to play a show with country artist Amanda Daughtry. “After the first show I was hired and I played very steady for six years.” Playing in Daughtry’s band opened up many great experiences. In 2019 the group played opening slots for Alan Jackson’s world tour and recorded and released the single and video for the song “Second Wind” co-written by Amanda Daughtry and well known Nashville songwriter, Rick Tiger. In addition to Daughtry’s steady playing schedule of road dates and regular Lower Broadway shows, Geoff also played with many of the other regular groups and artists on Nashville’s famous streets.

Geoff can occasionally still be seen onstage at Nashville’s world famous Lower Broadway Clubs, surprising and astounding audiences with his virtuosity and style, but is currently touring with Sammy Kershaw and the “Roots and Boots” tour.

Linda is a San Francisco singer-songwriter on guitar and piano and the creative force behind the indie-rock project See Night—which she performs as both with band and solo. Pavement's Bob Nastanovich released the See Night 7-inch, "Eloquence," on his Brokers Tip Records, and Linda is bringing it (and her new custom Raven Classic!) on the road soon to the East Coast and on an upcoming fifth DIY tour of the EU/UK. After two self-released EPs, she's prepping a third, Nashville-recorded EP that Nastanovich calls “glorious.”

What makes this extra special is that Linda was born and raised in Oxnard, California, very near the Anderson headquarters, making her one of our hometown Anderson Artists!
