New Artist: Felipe Elioenay

A warm welcome to our latest Anderson Artist: Felipe Elioenay! Also known as NRTHRN - his solo project as composer and producer.

Felipe started playing in a hardcore band in 2002 with some friends in São Paulo, Brazil. That same band evolved to Progressive Death Metal and continued on the road until 2013, when he decided to move to Kyiv, Ukraine. At that time, he took a break from music for almost two years, putting all his creative energy into working with graphic design.

In 2014 he moved to Montreal, Canada, where music started to call him back, and he ended up playing in a local Sad Punk band, which he says was a lot of fun, but it didn’t last long.

Looking for the autonomy of writing, producing, releasing and playing gigs on his own, he started NRTHRN as a one-man-band music project. Later in 2022, he invited Hugo Cavalier (Drums) and Franqk Bernard(Bass) to be NRTHRN’s live act.

The rest of his story is still to be written. We hear there’s some exciting things on the horizon, so he’s definitely one to keep an eye and ear on! With his current Angel Player and another on the way, he’ll be well equipped.
