Superbird Of A Different Feather
/Raven—by now we all know what specific attributes it takes to make a Raven a Superbird—like what it takes to make a Mustang a Shelby GT 500…
Or what it takes to make an S or a T a Cobra…or what it takes to make an Angel an Arc Angel—all the same.
Let’s review, shall we:
Superbird is a Raven with:
• Shorty (24 3/4-inch) scale length
• Mahogany Body
• Mahogany Neck Back
Or…
• White Limba Body
• White Limba Neck Back
Wait… What?…
Yes, White Limba? (Also referred to as Korina.)
So, it is the short-scale and mahogany structure that brings focus, power and aggression to Superbird.
And now you can also do that with White Limba (Korina).
Limba brings the same mahogany-like power and focus to Superbird but Limba offers a touch of presence with its predominant midrange muscularity.
This one finished in Tinted Natural, you can see Limba’s predominate grain pattern shining through.
Where is this one going: Headed to Nashville. It will be under the care of Tony Higbee at the Nashville Guitar Center’s Platinum Room (one of only two Guitar Center stores in the country to exclusively and actively carry Anderson Guitars).
