Before any other Orange sees us.
It’s not all that weird to want to hug your guitar, anyway, right? Especially when it is an Anderson. So unbelievably huggable and so exceptional to play in every way.
But this is more than that. It’s the debut of a brand new color, Hugger Orange—hence the hugging thing.
Premiering at Fuller’s Guitar on this gorgeous Pro Am, it was John at Fuller’s who knew how cool this could be. He had an inspirational vision—a Hugger Orange vision—and commissioned us to create this Pro Am for their excellent store.
As with so many guitar colors, Hugger Orange first appeared as a car paint—on a 1969 Camaro. In that year it was deemed a “Hugger” Camaro because it was designed and marketed to hug the road with new and improved handling. For the launch of this Camaro a new color, Hugger Orange, was also formulated to draw attention to the entire redesign. Such a dynamic new shade, how could it not?

Featured exclusively on this first-ever Pro Am at Fuller’s Guitar in Houston Texas, it’s Hugger Orange.
This Pro Am is definitely a “hot rod” in its own right. Unbelievable handling, diving into every twist and turn of your music. Plays wonderfully sleek, fast and virtually effortless, but of course.
Shiny Nickel-shrouded, twin humbucker pickups roar to life under the jurisdiction of our multifunctional 5-Way switching system, assuredly imparting six unsurpassed aural declarations from full-out musical power to sublime, single coil subtleties.
Anything from languid, legato vibrato to a metaphoric cannon ball off the tremolo high dive into the deep end of drop-tuning, a chrome-clad, fully-locking Floyd Rose Bridge and Locking Nut makes sure everything returns reliably to pitch, even under the wildest of playing conditions.
This (can’t-possibly-go-unnoticed) Pro Am is definitely worthy of the giant musical hug it received for being so gracious as to premier this new Hugger Orange color to the Anderson Guitarworks world. Makes you want to grab your own “Ande” (actually in any color) and give it a big hug. Such a touch sensitive electric guitar will certainly appreciate your affections and musically return the favor.
