Wolfhound’s Limba Leanings
Limba is also known to the guitar community as Korina—same. Korina is actually Limba.
Another alternate way to demonstrate Wolfhound’s powerful prowess is to present with the drama of a Black Limba body—this one finished in Satin Light Tobacco Shaded Edge. So basically, a natural satin finish with a shading of transparent light brown surrounding the outer perimeter of the body.
Beautiful.
Limba sonically steps out with a Mahogany-like timbre that is a little less thick and a bit more articulate in the upper midrange area of its bandwidth, making pronunciation precise and defined.
Some feel Limba can be a very beautiful balance of sonic and visual colors, especially under Wolfhound’s beneficial influence.
This one will be available to play at NAMM 2025, and shortly thereafter will be headed to Five Star Guitars in Portland, Oregon.
