T For Two And Two For T
/And then there were two.
How do you see these two...Ts (as in, T Classic)?
Are they Butterscotch or are they Black?
Understanding what you think you see can sometimes be a tricky thing. How we perceive the world is largely determined by how we look at it—perhaps more importantly than what actually is—if there even is such a thing.
So heavy. Let’s contemplate quantum physics together for a moment. Or wait… Not now, we’ll do that later.
So these two Ts you see…are they Black? Well, yes they are and no they are not but yes they are.
Although the light photons bouncing off of their surfaces are in the Butterscotch spectrum of visible light, their inner essence is Black. So one could consider that they are simultaneously both.
Ah yes, you guessed it, two celebratory Anderson Happy 40th Anniversary guitars for your enjoyment.
As we initially described when this whole Anniversary thing began:
In celebration of Anderson Guitarworks 40th Anniversary we will offer only 40 Limited Edition, 40th Anniversary Guitars. 20 unique builds. This essentially means two renditions of each exclusive instrument—with a variant here and there.
All of these guitars with spectacular specs and a callout to our illustrious guitar building history and tradition. As such, we will be providing clues as to how each one may fit into our rich lineage.
Now lean into the screen just a bit more so we can gently whisper in your ear the next subtle clue for you to decipher as to how these guitars may relate to our rich lineage.
CLINT BLACK!
The one and only.
How was that for subtle? Well, some things are just better when they are blatantly blurted out.
You have heard us say before: He is a spectacular person, far more than just a Country Music Superstar. And that matters a lot.
Rather than a single edition “Clint Black guitar,” these two are a conglomeration, representing an amalgamation of what we have done with Clint over the years.
Editor’s Note: If curious you may look back into Guitar Tales archives. There you can see many of the specific instruments, and their specs, that we built for Clint.
These two Limited Edition, 40th Anniversary guitars most notably feature a Swamp Ash body dramatically finished in Organic Grain, Butterscotch with Brown. Organic Grain finishes feature a satin top coat with an actual “organic” wood textural feel as you run your hand across the body surface. Super cool.
Things to notice when viewing these shots. They are comprised from two individual sets of pictures, so:
• The guitar with the pickup selector set to the neck position is going to Matt’s Guitars in Manassas, Virginia.
• T Classic with the pickup selector set to the bridge is headed to the Hawaiian Islands, Dan’s Guitars on Oahu—this one is also the full guitar back shot.
• Both are equipped with our V-Quiet noise canceling system so you can have your sonically delicious T vintage pickup cake and eat play it too.
Could this be more FUN!? Well hey, it’s a celebration—thanks to you and thanks to Clint.
