In fun celebration, we have created only 40 Limited Edition, 40th Anniversary Guitars. 20 unique builds. This essentially means two renditions of each exclusive instrument—with a variant here and there.
A variant is now before you.
The other Lacewood Anniversary offering. But technically we are talking Drop Top here—as the other was a Grand Am. A very special Drop Top with its Lacewood top wrapping around a robustly effervescent Spanish Cedar back. Both wonderful instruments—and slightly different from one another. A variant here and there making this one totally unique and awesome in its own right.
Lacewood, identified by its gorgeously unique interwoven snake skin-like grain pattern, was our original take-over the-midrange-universe guitar before the arrival of our Cobra. A super-excellent instrumental experience delivering the S guitar into the midst of mid-focus dominance.
This one-and-only Lacewood Drop Top, finished in Transparent Cherry, arrived at The Vibrato Bar in Ontario, Canada—a superb store always offering a wonderful customer experience.
Each of the 40, Limited Edition, 40th Anniversary Guitars speak out with spectacular specs and a callout to our illustrious guitar building history and tradition. As such—and for total guitar fun—we did say we would be providing clues as to how each of the 40 guitars may fit into our rich lineage.
