Our Big Sparkle finishes have become a very popular option for any of our In-Distress style instruments, and we do offer them in a fun variety of colors for those that want to shine with a different shade.
Editor’s Note: The big deal with our Big Sparkle is that they must be done as an In-Distress finish—so we do not have giant flakes floating around our pristine paint room, the one that is reserved for beautiful gloss and satin finishes only.
Raven is the super-secret weapon of the Offset guitar world. None of the naughty little things that have plagued the traditional offset guitar exists with Raven. With all trappings rectified, Raven easily steps forward with pure playing performance and sound and nothing whatsoever held back. Its properly-sized body is nimble and lightweight to manage on stage, in the studio and on your lap and its impeccable intonation makes huge chords resound ridiculously in tune—so fun. Anything you want to do, you can do it on Raven, with the flowing lines of Offset styling.
This particular one is outfitted with our optional J-Trem, tremolo system—for a different kind of excellent-functioning tremolo experience. Rather than tipping the whole baseplate and saddle structure forward like a Vintage Tremolo, the J-Trem features a stationary “Chopped 3-Saddle bridge” and floating tailpiece. The saddles are a special hardened steel with a super slippery nickel plating for a fluid feel that flows wonderfully in tune—and of course the saddles are calibrated for impeccable intonation. This design functions with a subtler arm action, enabling more delicate nuances of pitch shift. Some players will even opt to “drop D” without the need to re-tune.
