Yes, We Do Get Letters
Editor’s note: To protect the anonymity of this player, we will refer to him as “Fret Protector” (named after the signature Anderson fret protector that comes in the case of each and every Anderson Guitar).
Roy, Jack, Tom, and Rachel,
I put the new Anderson through its paces yesterday and I'm still smiling from ear to ear!!!
It has the sweet highs that are a staple of the S-family, Classic, but because it has a solid mahogany body and neck, you get the massive wall-of-sound character from the Cobra-family, in spades!
The H1 and H3 (my favorite pickup combination) can go from full and sweet to mild breakup to downright melt your face off!
I have also learned, from the 2 Ravens I have, that binding looks great but the forearm comfort from a full slab body is something I have come to really love. The guitar just becomes part of you.
Lastly, as always, I have named this guitar "BlackJack" (it is "Black" and I bought it from "Jack" the Anderson dealer "Extraordinaire").
Thanks to all of you at Anderson Guitarworks and (Jack’s) Northeast Music Center for making the musical world a better place just by doing what you do everyday! You have my friendship and support for life.
