More Vitamin C Per Song

Recently some have asserted that the Big Sparkle Orange guitar finish contains significantly higher amounts of vitamin C and therefore is a more potent antioxidant formula.

Is this so? Maybe yes or maybe no?

You see it all the time, an “expert" proclaiming "this is bad" and "that is not good" and only their very special system or agenda can save you. They dupe with fear. But your higher self, including your artistic/musical awareness, can be your reliable guide out of the mire. For you know that in this wonder-filled world the beauty you experience comes from where you place your attention—what songs you choose to learn and to play out. Constructive actions will naturally follow elevated thought.

In this Guitar Tale, some fictional nutritionists have proclaimed that Big Sparkle Orange contains significantly larger amounts of essential vitamin C than regular orange guitar finishes, including our own Sparkle Orange, Metallic Orange, Hugger Orange, Go Mango, Transparent Orange, Natural Orange Burst, Burnished Orange, Burnished Orange Burst, Burnished Orange Surf, Fiesta Orange, Candy Apple Orange, Black with Orange Dog Hair, Fire Sunset Double Wipeout and even Fire WakeSurf. That is a lot of fun orange colors for you to play with.

But apparently there something about the larger flake size that causes the absorption of citric acid to be enhanced, providing significant health benefits you can get no other way. Is it true? Does Big Sparkle Orange have more musically nutritional benefits than other colors?

To be sure we enlisted the expertise of our own invented, Dr. Trembar.

Anderson Guitarworks: Dr. Trembar, thank you so much for joining us today in Guitar Tales. It seems as though noted controversial nutritionists are now stating that the Big Sparkle Orange color provides players with significantly larger amounts of beneficial vitamin C, with an amplified absorption rate, than any other guitar finish. Is this true?

Dr. Trembar: No it’s not… And please don’t lick any of the paint finishes.

Huh?…Well okay then…and there you have it from Dr. Trembar, perhaps the world’s foremost authority on the vitamin content of guitar finishes.

But still, we should talk about C, not the vitamin but the chord. In fact all the chords–ringing out much more in tune. This Raven is an Anderson and as such it plays exceptionally and delightfully more in tune. You can hear this most notably in the 3rd of the chord. So with C major, this would be the E note—sounding full and rich and playing in pleasing harmony with all the other notes. So nice. And all Anderson-generated chords, in all their iterations and inversions, benefit in this same manner.

So yes, in this sense, this Big Sparkle Orange does offer a more vibrant form of the vitamin C chord experience—and all other chords for that matter.

Raven may be the Ande that more players love to factory-modify. Let’s have a look at this Raven, Superbird.

Most obvious is its…finish, Big Sparkle Orange. So vibrant, it certainly makes a statement. Hit this shade with stage lights and watch what happens—shimmering and shining.

But it goes so much further. Two PQ Series, Soapbar style pickups take up residency in the neck and middle positions to provide huge, hum-canceling single coil tones, while a full-sized, Nickel-covered, HC2+ humbucker brings big bridge tones to life.  All this controlled by a special 5-Way switching setup.

And the bridge and tailpiece itself, our J-Trem system, brings fluid, subtle and accurate legato pitch movement when desired. So good.

Thankfully, thanks to Dr. Trembar and our own intrinsic artistic nature, we now know that we are naturally getting enough vitamin C. But we now also know that as we place our attention on joy and improvement, our experience, and the experience of those around us, is lifted up—to the heights at which the Raven freely soars—on the winds of vitamin C, of course.
