But with this one we also wanted to make Steve McQueen and Ford Motor Company proud. And guitar players super happy.
As you probably know, some of the coolest guitar colors of all time came from the golden age of the American auto industry. Custom guitar finishes were derived from car paints of the day, which have since become coveted iconic shades.
One such color is Bullitt Green, as seen on this magnificent Raven. It originated from the 1968 movie, Bullitt, starring Steve McQueen and his car—a 1968 Mustang Fastback. It was painted a dark metallic green and came to be known as, Bullitt Green.
We are now offering this custom color in all 3 of our Finishing Options: Beautiful Gloss or Satin or as an In-Distress finished instrument.
