Super musical with lush, multi-dimensional overtones, this is the Swamp Ash signature timbre. Predicated by a naturally open middle, airy, with an abundance of gorgeously soft and manageable highs, all laid upon a foundation of robust low-lows.
This is the more delicate and intricate of the S tones, with nuance, purpose and personality.
And maybe nothing makes the visuals of Swamp Ash’s elongated grain patterns pop forward any more than Transparent Orange. A very important color. Not only is Orange the primary shade of October and November in the United States but it signifies autumn for the entire northern hemisphere. The Dutch have adopted it as their national color denoting pride and unity. And for the east, a deeply spiritual color that promotes healing of the body and soul. A moment of stillness.
This is what our Transparent Orange now looks like over Swamp Ash. And of course, any kind of transparent color is always influenced by the underlying wood hues beneath—because its finish is…transparent. Makes sense, right? Ha.
This Icon features a Single / Single / Humbucker pickup layout. With the optional SC1 pickups in the neck and middle positions, gorgeous vintage tones are infused with richer and smoother output, gushing forth and into your favorite amp. Makes the most universally desired single coil attributes certainly more easily accessible for most players.
Sequestered under the cover lies an HC2 humbucker. Speaking with an overwound PAF-type voice, vintage + tones are again instantly accessible, and oh so fat, focused and musically pleasing to play.
