Happy Anniversary

And happily, the Anderson Guitarworks celebratory festivities continue…

Put on your best stage clothes and plug into your favorite amp. Wonderful tone abounds. Profound playability and unbelievably impressive intonation is an inseparable part of its Anderson pedigree.

Yes, it is…

40 years of Anderson Guitarworks excellence and performance.

40, specially built, Limited Edition, 40th Anniversary guitars.

As we kicked off the celebration in last week’s Guitar Tales we did say,

“There will be only 40 Limited Edition, 40th Anniversary Guitars created. 20 unique builds. This essentially means two renditions of each exclusive instrument—with a variant here and there.”

And "here" is the first "there." A “variant,” of the Transparent Black Cobra that we showed last week—the other rendition and the only other Transparent Black Cobra available…ever…as a Limited Edition, 40th Anniversary guitar.

As you know by now, Cobra was our original “crusher.” Midrange muscle manifested as a wonderfully maneuverable and manageable musical instrument, making stage and studio performances so gratifying and much more comfortable to play…nonstop, which is exactly what you will want to do, of course.

The very first Cobra may have been Transparent Amber but this early original was commissioned to be built in Transparent Black to best integrate with the band and artist that requested it.

Cobra power is an expression of its mahogany-based superstructure in accord with a shorter 24 3/4-inch scale length and stellar build quality.  You can go from romping humbucker domination to impressive single coil tones with a flick. When it becomes necessary, you can take this one guitar to the gig and everyone will still be very impressed. So good.

And as everyone wants to know, where is this pristine Cobra going? This one will make its “guest appearance” with our friends at Guitar Center in Nashville, Tennessee (Thompson Lane location).

A Cobra very significant to us, to you and to our history: You could A Cobra very significant to us, to you and to our history: You could definitely enjoy laying down the most iconic and substantial rhythm tracks of all time—with a groove as deep and as solid as the Grand Canyon (metaphorically speaking, of course). And you could enjoy taking Cobra with you to Barbados, as your only axe. Yes, it really is love at first bite strum.

Editor’s note: And just for fun…
