Pining Away For The Classic

If you have heard the Tales told of Anderson Guitars, you may already know that Roasted Pine premiered on a T-Icon; it’s body finished in Rustic Brown Edge Burst

This spread pine-inspired happiness throughout the fine community of T-style guitar players. Joy and sonic bliss abounded everywhere.

Naturally.

But then…

Cries could be heard resounding from the S-tops (or mountain tops, depending on which version of the tale is being told).

It was S-players pining away…for pine—roasted pine to be more exact.

Yes, Roasted Pine on an S-type instrument; many wanted it. Where oh where could they get it?

We heard your cries from the S-tops (or mountain tops, depending on which version of the tale is being told) and came running…

Running toward you with pine in hand—in the form of The Classic—the first pine powered, S-shaped Anderson guitar; debuting…right now.

And its sound?

As resoundingly excellent for the “S” as it is for a “T.”

So, so good.

A gorgeously musical and pleasingly percussive presentation announces each note and chord played with this premier guitar.

If you know guitar wood tones, you could say Pine seems to fall into a sonic slot between Alder and Basswood. It has a softer attack, similar to Basswood but with the wider bandwidth and reach more reminiscent of Alder. For many players, this could become your new favorite wood. The best of both worlds.

And this Roasted Pine is happy to play with any pickup preference you choose.

The Classic, in its new form, has arrived. Let the Pining begin!
