Several of the most influential guitar companies in the world began their legacy in the early to mid 80’s as the Hod Rod guitar industry exploded on to the music scene—changing almost everything.
Two of the first to begin the wave of ultra quality, our friends at PRS and Anderson Guitarworks, just to name a few. And there are others, of course. But these are two that have remained intact and expanded outward.
This is The Classic, an Anderson Guitarworks super “S” guitar. An instrument that perpetuated monumental improvements to the entire guitar scene with something much more versatile and powerful than had been seen before, but with an underlying vintage essence still soundly intact—all in one supreme instrument. It was the culmination of a collective consciousness of electric guitar reformation and revolution at that time.
Powered by Anderson Pickupworks SF1, SF1 and HC3 pickups all controlled by custom switching set forth by Kris—who ordered this wonderful axe. Notice, this one does not have a tone control. Another small option appearing predominately in the 80’s.
