Ride Like The Wind
/To be free again.
But…he also plays like the wind.
I was fortunate enough to first see Christopher Cross at the Hollywood Bowl when he opened for Fleetwood Mac on their Tusk tour.
So impressive.
Not only does he write great songs and sing exceptionally well, but when you see him live, you quickly find out this guy can really play guitar—skilled and super musical in so many ways.
So when he walked into Anderson Guitarworks many years ago, I was already aware of his exceptional artistry. We were impressed, but not nearly as impressed as we became once we all got to know him. Interacting with him, we soon realized he is a very deep, caring, thoughtful, fun and engaging person. A wonderful combination that, I am sure, many artists wish they could master.
Two Anderson Guitarworks 40th Anniversary Baby Blues—The Classic.
The Classic is his go-to guitar model, and often he does them in Baby Blue. Baby Blue is a custom Anderson color creation. It is a shade reminiscent of what the original Sonic Blue color more accurately looked like when it was brand new. Over the years of reverence, Sonic Blue seems to have become slightly more yellowish, as it takes on the attributes of aging in the new shades offered today.
08-03-24P made its momentary stop-off at The Music Zoo in Farmingdale, New York—on Long Island.
12-04 22N will be appearing at Dave’s Guitar Shop in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
It’s the fantastic end-of-year finale of our 40th Anniversary Anderson Guitarworks celebration. Thank you all. Much like the ending of a spectacular fireworks show, where they blast a blazing array into the sky in rapid succession, we will be displaying our own blazing array of the most spectacular Anniversary Andes EVER!!
We head into 2025 with new hope for a wonderful world, emerging guitar technologies, and new models to share. If you thought the first 40 years were good, just hang on for the next.
We are delighted to have you with us.
Together…Let’s all, ride like the wind.
