Plummeting Toward Earth At The Speed...
/…Of Sound.
Upon arrival it is always nice to make a good impression (no, not in the ground, but with a graceful, soft landing) as you step out and onto the stage with a guitar that has the innate ability to effortlessly be just plumb awesome in every way. Of course it is, it’s an Ande.
And it just so happens that this plum guitar is also the first one to appear that way—in Guitar Tales—adorned with our new Sparkle Plum Finish.
Shimmering under the lights, The Classic radiates its depth as if it had secretly danced with sugarplum fairies by moonlight, sprinkling their sparkling goodness everywhere for all to see and enjoy. Tchaikovsky would most certainly approve.
Once we got The Classic to the studio we had to position the lights just right. To shoot Sparkle or Metallic paint properly is to intricately interact with light and embrace it. Even a millimeter matters.
And though it may sound like it, we are not full of prunes. This guitar is pure plum through and through.
An Alder body for balanced tonal output, enhanced by a Caramel Maple neck with a sumptuous Rosewood fingerboard, contributes an underpinning of gentle upper-end vivacity and low, bounding bottom. Power all that forward with pleasingly-plush, vintage-plus singles provided by our SC1 series pickups in the neck and middle positions. A note-worthy, mid-powered H2 series humbuck in the tail expounds on bridge humbucker duties with modern, aggressive and yet soulful mid-power mastery.
All this beauty resounds ridiculously in tune. So, so rewarding to experience and play when even complex chords ring out full and bountiful because they are just so in tune.
Yes, you have an instrument that can change your musical life for the better forever.
Okay then…I’ll have my plum guitar with Plum Sparkles please.
