Our untamed Anderson Guitarworks, 40th Anniversary celebration rages on with the promised second appearance—of a Tiger Eye, Cobra.
As we said in Guitar Tales on November 4, 2024, entitled: “A Tale of Two Tigers,” there will be two Tiger Eye guitars. Two Cobras, each with slightly varying specs, making both unique enough to warrant two separate tales to be told. The first tale of Tiger Eye origins: and the other is here before you now.
As we also said: As you have probably noticed, this first Anniversary Cobra is finished in Tiger Eye Burst. The second Cobra, this one, is pure Tiger Eye—with no burst.
This 2nd rendition really is reminiscent of the original Eye of the Tiger, Cobra. It became famous in the hands of the very fun Frankie Sullivan from the band Survivor. Great guy.
Their super popular song, “Eye Of The Tiger” was also used in a Starbucks commercial where Frankie is happily playing a…Tiger Eye, Cobra.
We now pay honors and thanks to Frankie and to his Cobra for waking up everyone with this much-appreciated shot of Tiger Eye Cobra magic.
