It’s No Wonder It Won
/But of course we have to experience them…each and every guitar we shoot.
Even in the magic environment of the Anderson Guitarworks photo studio, it’s the utter joy of guitars and guitar playing at the forefront of our focus. After all, we get to share the world’s best playing, feeling and sounding electric guitars with you—so completely cool. We feel very fortunate. Thank you.
Once we set the scene, it is time for the guitar to make its appearance on our stage. To gaze upon these magnificent instruments is to be called…to play it, reveling in its superb intonation and tone.
Musical bonding at its best. Before the actual shooting begins, we pick up the guitars, hold them and play them. This allows us to feel and better share each one’s true emotion with you through our pictures and text.
We often say that an Anderson guitar is first and foremost a high-performance instrument, elevating all playing aspects to the loftiest level possible—our primary focus.
Guitar Player Magazine—very famous. July, 1993 edition. It was a “Shootout!” 32 T-style guitars—all competing against one another to determine which one is, in actuality, the Top “T.”
And the winner…easily the Anderson.
Our now-famous hollow T-Classic.
And here, our very special, Limited Edition, 40th Anniversary hollow T Classic, purposely similarly specced to this supreme guitar that impressed them all so much.
But of course, before our photo shoot began, we had to play this special Anniversary Edition, as well, to feel its essential essence.
Almost in unison, we viscerally exclaimed:
“Oh wow, it is absolutely no wonder why this guitar won first place in the Guitar Player Magazine Shootout. No question whatsoever!”
We couldn’t stop. Several songs and harmony parts later…
So moved, we had to say it all over again: “It’s absolutely no wonder it won. This guitar is fierce! So ridiculously musical—and plays like hot butter.”
“Like being hit by a proverbial musical bolt of lightning.”
“Simply spectacular to play. Chords just swirl out of this guitar—even unplugged. Inspiration filling the room.”
And although we are all used to this Anderson magic, it is still completely thrilling—like playing it for the first time.
Have we said enough? Probably so, but this is just how it went for us during this hollow T Classic photo session.
This Anniversary Ande, T Classic in 3 Color Burst, is headed to Station Music in Jettingen-Scheppach, Germany.
Happy 40th Anniversary Anderson Guitarworks family and friends—that’s all of you too.
